Management Refinish Awareness (2 day)
An excellent opportunity to cover the refinish process, this can help the understanding of the management when dealing with customers and staff. Right first time and cost saving in every area of refinish process can be implemented by a well informed management. The correct identification of training needs within the bodyshop will be achieved once they have seen the benefits of the training first hand.
Suitable for general management and team leaders to see the benefits first hand of correct repair process.
Estimator Refinish and Colour Awareness (1 day)
Covering a basic overview of the refinish process, giving awareness of the latest colour formulations contents regarding special effects and giving the correct information for justification regarding the cost of the repair.
Suitable for managers and estimators to highlight missed opportunity and cover the refinish process to add confidence.
Introduction to Car Refinish Systems (2 days)
Introduction to Car Refinish Systems will raise delegates to a level of competence which will enable them to play a useful part in the productive work of a modern bodyshop. This course will also improve delegate spraying techniques and allow delegates to be able to recognise and rectify simple paint faults. The course overall will deliver delegates with an understanding of simple paint systems.
Suitable for trainee or inexperienced paint technicians who have little or no familiarity with two - pack paint systems.
Advanced Refinisher (2 days)
Advanced Refinisher will provide delegates with an increased understanding of pearlescent finishes and tinted clearcoats. The Advanced Refinisher course will improve technician confidence and effectiveness in colour matching of pearlescent and tinted clearcoats. It will also enable technicians to achieve high quality colour matches which satisfy the customer every time.
Suitable for experienced paint technicians and paint shop foremen who wish to improve their knowledge and skills in the highest level of the refinish process
An Eye for Colour (2 days)
An Eye for Colour will develop technicians understanding of colour and will give them the skills and confidence to be able them to tint formulations and colour match.
Suitable for experienced paint technicians and paint mixers who wish to improve their knowledge and skills in colour matching.
SMART Repair Techniques (2 days)
Designed for a dedicated Smart repair operative or a member of the refinish team. Will allow the candidate to have the confidence to refinish within the panel covering rework or Smart repair.
This specialised course is for technicians who have already attended the Car Refinish Systems Course and will introduce the technician to the SMART repair technique which is highly effective and productive for the repair of minor damage using the product range.
